HOW DO I...
OBTAIN REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS?

When ordering repeat prescriptions, please allow two full working days before collection. Requests for repeat prescriptions can be made by telephone, in writing or by calling at the surgery and bringing your list of medications (computer printout attached to your prescription).

Because of the very busy nature of surgeries, we must ask that requests by telephone for repeat prescriptions are made between 10.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday on 01772 727555.

If you provide a stamped addressed envelope, we will be happy to post your prescription to you.

HOW DO I...
OBTAIN TELEPHONE ADVICE?

Nurse Practitioner

This service is provided every Friday between the hours of 9.30am - 12.30pm and 2.00 - 5.00pm, for triage telephone consultations and same day appointments.

HOW DO I...
MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

All surgeries are by appointment. Appointments are made in person or by telephone. Please make a separate appointment for each person. If the appointment offered is not soon enough for your liking, a Doctor is on call every day for urgent problems and you should ask to be put through to them to discuss your problem. If they agree it is urgent, they will arrange to see you that day.
If you want to speak to a doctor urgently and feel an appointment is not necessary, you can speak to DOCTOR ON CALL Tuesday to Friday between 10.00 - 10.15am and 3.00 - 3.15pm for emergencies only booked as telephone conversations.

HOW DO I...
OBTAIN A HOME VISIT?

If you are too ill to come to the medical centre, a home visit can be arranged. Please telephone before 10.30am and you will be put through to the Doctor on call to assess the urgency of the visit and they will arrange it with you.

HOW DO I...
OBTAIN TEST RESULTS?

You are advised to ring and have it confirmed that your test results have returned. Samples are sent away for analysis and results can take varying lengths of time to come back to the surgery. The receptionist can only provide information authorised by the Doctor.

Please ring for results between 11.00am - 12.30pm and 3.30 - 5.00pm.

Please note that for reasons of confidentiality, results will only be given to the patient concerned.
